California is again leading the nation when it comes to buying a home. It’s probably no surprise the state has the most expensive zip codes. The real estate search site Property Shark lists 100 cities and Atherton in San Mateo County is number one. Ross in Marin County is third followed by Beverly Hills in fifth. Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach and San Diego County’s Rancho Santa Fe all made the top ten.
