Crews have finished an eight-year, 90-million-dollar renovation of the largest academic building at Sonoma State University. Improvements were made to lighting, plumbing, acoustics, ventilation and other elements of Stevenson Hall. It also now features gender-neutral restrooms and a lactation area. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Stevenson Hall on Friday morning. It officially opens in January. The now 57-year-old building was the subject of an asbestos lawsuit that the university lost in 2017.
