A lawsuit has been filed over the disputed RV parking ordinance in Sebastopol. A collection of civil rights groups filed a 38-page lawsuit Tuesday contesting the ordinance which restricts RV Parking in Sebastopol. They call it “cruel and unlawful” saying that the city ordinance violates constitutional rights, as well as federal and state laws, including those protecting people with disabilities. The ordinance was passed last February by the city council after feedback from business people and residents about RV parking in the Morris Street area, near the Barlow shopping district. This comes as another suit is seeking to close the sanctioned safe parking site on Highway 116.
