Maria Christina Rivera will serve as the next Sonoma County Administrator. The Santa Rosa-native is getting promoted after 26 years of working for the county. She spent the last five years as assistant county administrator under Sheryl Bratton. Bratton is stepping down as county administrator after more than six years on the job and 30 years of working for the county. Rivera will oversee the daily operations of the North Bay’s largest local government and its largest single workforce.
