A toddler is dead after a large tree fell onto a home in Occidental. The tree fell on a double-wide trailer during Wednesday night’s heavy rain and wind. Officials say the boy was younger than two-years-old. His parents were home at the time, but they were not hurt. Several trees fell in Occidental last night. Firefighters had to clear multiple trees out of the roadway just to get back to their station house after responding to the call at the toddler’s home.
