PG&E Working to Restore Power in Sonoma County

PG&E is working to restore power to thousands of Sonoma County residents affected by this week’s heavy rain and strong wind. There were more than eleven-thousand outages in Sonoma County on Thursday night. Crews were also working through the night to clear debris off power lines and remove trees from roadways. Meanwhile, there’s a more positive outlook for residents along the lower Russian River. Forecasters now say the river should rise to four or five feet above its flood stage by early Tuesday. It was initially projected to rise to eight feet above its flood stage by then.

KSRO’s Tony Landucci and Larry Olson spoke with Ron Richardson, Vice President of PG&E’s North Coast Region which includes Sonoma County concerning power restoration efforts.
