Sonoma County isn’t out of danger after recent torrential rains, strong winds, and flooding. Three more atmospheric rivers are headed for the region, with the next storm expected to begin tonight. Meteorologists say this many atmospheric rivers in just a few weeks is rare, even for the winter months. They cite a jet stream surging over the Pacific Ocean for churning out so many storms. Sonoma County has already been hit by six atmospheric rivers this winter.
