A longtime children’s clothing store is leaving Downtown Santa Rosa. Cupcake will move from Fourth Street in Downtown to a new location in Montgomery Village this spring. Owner Jenny Romeyn tells the Press Democrat Montgomery Village reached out to her as her lease was coming up for renewal. The new store location will be smaller, but will be near other children’s-themed stores like Kaleidoscope Toys, Copperfield’s Books and Dandelion Boutique. Romeyn says she wants to connect and collaborate with the owners of those businesses.
