First Three Covid Deaths Reported for 2023 in Sonoma County

Sonoma County is reporting its first three COVID-19 deaths of 2023. The deaths all happened between January 7th and 13th. They involved an unvaccinated woman between the ages of 55 and 65, an unvaccinated man between the ages of 85 and 95, and a fully-vaccinated and boosted man between the ages of 90 and 100. All three people had underlying health conditions. Sonoma County’s three COVID deaths in January is an improvement from previous years. There were 68 deaths in January of 2021 and 39 in January of 2022.
