Governor Gavin Newsom is taking action to protect California’s water supply from extreme weather. He signed an executive order yesterday to help capture storm runoff. He warns there will continue to be risks of severe flooding and drought in the same year. In fact, the state is already experiencing an unseasonably dry February after recent storms caused the wettest three weeks on record.
