Layer up and throw some extra blankets on the bed. Experts are warning the Bay Area is in for some of the coldest temperatures of the season this week. Right now, a high wind warning is in effect until later this morning along with a rare Winter Storm Watch. By Friday afternoon, some areas will only be in the 40’s. Santa Rosa will have a high in the upper 40’s on Friday, and parts of the West County will only have highs in the mid 40’s.
