Emergency crews are busy after strong winds took down trees and power lines across Sonoma County. At least 15 power outages were reported in Santa Rosa on Tuesday. The largest happened at about noon and affected an estimated 12-hundred people. The Montgomery Elementary School District in Cazadero is closing campuses today due to power outages. Falling trees also hit at least four houses between Bennett Valley and Forestville, but no injuries have been reported. The North Bay valleys are under a wind advisory through 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
