Casa Grande Parents Upset Over Response to Attack On-Campus

Parents are still upset about the response to an attack that happened on the campus of Casa Grande High School in Petaluma. School officials say, on the morning of February 17th, two assailants in ski masks ran into a classroom and started attacking a student during class. They left after being chased away by other students. School officials say it was part of an ongoing feud, and the victim was not seriously injured. Parents were sent an email about the incident in the afternoon, but they say it lacked critical details. It didn’t say who the attackers were, if they were still on campus, or explain why there was no lockdown or earlier announcement.
