Over 6 pounds of meth were found during a Santa Rosa traffic stop thanks to man’s best friend. An officer stopped a car on Hopper Avenue, near the intersection with Airway Drive. The driver was Olga Fercano-Jose, and the passenger was Jesus Silva-Mendez, both from Bakersfield. During the stop, a police K-9 named Enzo alerted the police to the presence of drugs inside the vehicle. Police found the suspected meth in the trunk and both suspects were charged with possession for sale/transportation of methamphetamine.
