A Record January for the Sonoma County Airport

The Charles M. Schultz Sonoma County Airport is off to a great start in 2023. Nearly 38-thousand airline passengers went through the airport in January, making it the busiest January ever for the airport and up 18 percent from last year. Alaska Airlines saw the most service in January with over 24-thousand passengers. Airport manager Jon Stout tells the North Bay Business Journal that they are aiming for measured growth in 2023. Stout also hopes to get a route to Denver back along with looking at other potential destinations including Salt Lake City, Chicago, or New York. However, no new destinations are expected to come about this year.
