A woman is recovering after spending three days stranded in her vehicle in Mendocino County. Search and rescue crews saved the woman on Monday afternoon, after she got stuck in heavy snow on Friday. Authorities say she was trying to evacuate a snowbound family member near Laytonville, but never made it. She was finally able to get a cellphone signal on Sunday. The woman was also stranded with her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend, but they walked several miles through the elements and took refuge inside a vacant home on Sunday.
