The Russian River could crest in Hopland tomorrow afternoon. The water is expected to reach a height of 15-and-a-half-feet at about 2:00 p.m. That’s half a foot past its flood stage, meaning water may flood nearby crop lands and Highway 175. The Russian River in Guerneville is forecast to reach 29-and-a-half-feet on Wednesday morning. That would be half-a-foot above monitor level and about two-and-a-half-feet below flood stage. Sonoma County is under a flood watch between late tonight and Wednesday morning.
