Another Atmospheric River Hitting the North Bay With High Winds and Possible Thunderstorms

Another powerful atmospheric river is anticipated to rock the North Bay today. The National Weather Service is calling for thunderstorms and wind gusts of up to 60-miles-an-hour. Forecasters are also warning of mudslides as the already wet ground gets even more soaked. The Sonoma County valleys could get one-and-a-half to three inches of rain by tonight. The Mayacamas Mountains could receive up to six inches of rain. Some areas could see an inch to two inches of rain per hour during the peak of the storm. The storm is expected to start weakening at about midday.
