The Bay Area is finally feeling relief as it starts to dry out today. The heaviest rain has moved on for now and a high wind warning is over. But those who live in Sonoma County are still on alert as some creeks continue to overflow. A Flood Warning is also remains near River Mile and Chittenden. As for power outages, it’s down to about 170-thousand people in the dark, with the most in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. There are roughly 200 customers without power in Sonoma County.
The Russian River at Guerneville appears to have peaked at 30.7 feet Wednesday morning.
