It’s St. Patrick’s Day, and law enforcement will increase patrols. Known as one of the busiest drinking holidays of the year, officers will be out with patrols and checkpoints looking for drunk drivers. Those include Petaluma Police and CHP in Santa Rosa. Remember, if you plan to drink tonight, have a plan: designate a sober driver, use a taxi or rideshare. Don’t drink and drive. If you see a drunk driver on the road, contact 911 immediately.
