There are no reports of injuries after barbecue coals started a house fire in Larkfield-Wikiup. But, two residents were displaced Saturday night and left with an estimated 150-thousand-dollars in damage to deal with. The residents have found a temporary place to stay after firefighters deemed their house uninhabitable. Investigators traced the source of the flames to hot coals from an outdoor barbecue that had been used earlier in the day. The coals lit some combustible materials on fire outside, then the flames spread to the exterior of the home.
