Sixty-two condos could be built across from Petaluma’s Casa Grande High School. The proposed Creekwood housing project calls for building the condos on the five-acres of land that currently serve as a grazing space for sheep and goats. The grassland is accompanied by just two single-family homes. One would be demolished if the project is approved, while the other would stay but have its lot size cut down. The developers are asking for the project’s approval process to be fast-tracked under California Senate Bill 330, which is also called the Housing Crisis Act.
