Gun confiscated from Martel Nelson (Santa Rosa Police)
A DUI driver arrested in Santa Rosa was found with a loaded ghost gun. On Friday night, police pulled over a car going northbound on Mendocino Avenue for multiple violations. The officer smelled alcohol and cannabis coming from inside the vehicle and arrested the driver, 27-year-old Martel Nelson, for driving under the influence. Police then searched the vehicle and found a Glock-style ghost gun loaded with 13 rounds. Nelson was then charged with three firearm related crimes including possession of an unregistered firearm.
