Pharmacy technician training is back at the JC. The North Bay Business Journal reports that Santa Rosa Junior College has resumed the three-semester program after a two-year pause due to the pandemic. The online introductory course is available now with the full program returning this fall. Pharmacy technicians work under licensed pharmacists, preparing medications, helping patients and assisting with office duties. Technicians can be ready to work within a year compared to six to eight years of graduate work at a pharmacy school for licensed pharmacists.
