Sonoma County is still losing lives to COVID-19. Public health officials reported five recent deaths this week, taking the county’s total to 553 deaths since the pandemic started. Four of the residents who died were unvaccinated. The fully vaccinated resident who died was a man between 60 and 70 years of age who had an underlying health condition. The deaths happened between February 5th and March 14th.
