Lawrence (aka "Larry") Atchison (Santa Rosa Police)
A 64-year-old man from Bennett Valley has been found dead a month after he went missing from his home. A woman walking on a trail in a rural area off of Fawn Hollow Lane, southeast of Santa Rosa’s Bennett Valley neighborhood found the body of Larry Atchison on Monday afternoon. He was about two miles away from his home, which he disappeared from on February 27th. The date and cause of death has yet to be determined. But, detectives don’t believe foul play was involved. Atchison suffered from dementia.
