Man Arrested After 6-Mile Chase in Sonoma

A man has been arrested on suspicion of threatening people then leading police on an almost six-mile chase through Sonoma. It happened last Wednesday morning, but the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office didn’t announce it until Sunday. The man was initially wanted on suspicion of making threats while holding a gun. He sped away when deputies tried to pull him over, then decided to give up about six miles later. Deputies searched his car and found a holster and a handgun concealed inside. He was booked on several charges, including possessing an assault weapon.
