Police in Mendocino County are still on the hunt for a murder suspect, five days after a 20-year-old man was found dead in Covelo. Investigators believe the victim, Nicholas Shehli Whipple, may have died after a physical assault last Wednesday morning. Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputies also say he had a possible gunshot wound. The suspect, Lee Joaquin, is considered armed and dangerous.
