Sonoma has found a new city manager. David M. Guhin was picked after months of searching and is expected to be formally approved on April 19th. Guhin will oversee activities at City Hall, emergency management and communication with the public. Guhin, most recently, was the executive director of government operations for the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. Before that, he was assistant city manager of Santa Rosa and director of Santa Rosa Water. The city of Sonoma has had some problems keeping a city manager having had five since 2020.
