A Sonoma Valley High School graduate’s first full-length film is now available on several streaming platforms. Connor Vickers’ movie, called “Tell Momma Not to Worry,” debuted April 4th on iTunes, Amazon, VUU, YouTube and Google Play. It’s also an official selection of Hollywood New Directors and the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival. The low budget movie was filmed off Gehricke Road in Sonoma and at Fern Lake at the Sonoma Developmental Center in Eldridge. Vickers says it’s about the reuniting of two fictional brothers from Sonoma who appear to be worlds apart in life. Vickers got the idea while living in Los Angeles and feeling detached from Sonoma.
