A Santa Rosa man with with stolen mail, checks, other items related to fraud has been arrested. On Sunday afternoon, 26-year-old Benjamin Brass was passed out in a car on private property the 4300 block of Stony Point Road. Someone called deputies to the scene and they contact Brass who didn’t have ID and seemed to be under the influence of drugs. After finding out Brass was on probation, a deputy searched his car to find a laptop, printer, tools to forge checks, stolen mail, stolen checks, 18 debit cards with Brass’ name, 8 debit cards in other peoples names, and 7 general un-embossed debit cards. He was arrested for identity theft and two charges of violating probation.
