One of the legends of Sonoma County is gone. 107-year-old Al Maggini passed away this morning at his home in Oakmont. Maggini was known for many things from being a World War II Aviator to Stockbroker to philanthropist. He spent more than six decades with the charitable foundation of Memorial Hospital having been credited with raising over $200 million. He was also involved with the leadership at the Hanna Boys Center and Santa Rosa Junior College.
