Santa Rosa Bank Robber Caught Two Months After the Crime

A man accused of robbing a bank in Santa Rosa in February is behind bars. Police officers, SWAT team members and a hostage negotiation team were all involved in Christopher Cairati’s arrest at his home in Rohnert Park on Tuesday. He was considered dangerous after allegedly threatening to shoot a bank teller while robbing an Exchange Bank in the Saint Francis Shopping Center on February 3rd. It’s unclear if Cairati was actually carrying a gun. Police also found drugs inside the man’s home, including meth, cocaine and anabolic steroids.
