Over a pound of cocaine was found during a Santa Rosa traffic stop. On Friday afternoon, an officer saw a Mercedes driving erratically and speeding on Highway 101 near the Baker off-ramp. The officer pulled the car over and found that the driver, Anthony Rojas Salgado, was unlicensed, and the passenger, Chad John Evansco, had a warrant out for his arrest. Police searched the car and found a vacuum-sealed bag containing cocaine, a large amount of cash, and drug packaging material. Both men were arrested for cocaine possession.
