The Sonoma Valley School Board has selected a new superintendent. Jeanette Rodriguez-Chien, who has been deputy superintendent for the San Diego County Office of Education since July 2020 will start her new job on July 1st after she gets the full board approval at their meeting this Thursday. Rodriguez-Chien will be replacing an interim superintendent who took over after the sudden departure of Dr. Adrian Palazuelos in November. She was selected from a field of 19 candidates in a unanimous decision by the board.
