Kaiser Permanente’s Santa Rosa hospital is getting recognized for their maternity ward. They made Newsweek’s list of the “Best Maternity Hospitals in 2023” — the only Sonoma County hospital to earn the annual recognition. It’s the fourth year that Kaiser Santa Rosa has made the list in which hospitals were evaluated on key performance indicators, including cesarean births and patient satisfaction. Overall, 23 Kaiser facilities made Newsweek’s list, and 11 are in Northern California. Kaiser’s Santa Rosa maternity ward delivered just over 2-thousand babies in 2022.
