Woodland Star Charter School is relocating. The Sonoma Valley Unified School District board trustees have voted to allow the charter to relocate to the Dunbar Elementary School campus for the next school year. This comes after the board last month voted to close Dunbar after this year due to declining enrollment. The deal with Woodland Star could extend it through the 2024-25 school year. After that, the district’s contract with the charter school expires. Dunbar is one of the oldest elementary schools in California, founded in 1857.
