Petaluma Police are reminding the public of road closures tomorrow in the downtown area for the annual Cruisin the Boulevard Car Show. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the film American Graffiti, the event is scheduled to start at 10 AM and end at about 8 PM (10 hours). Road closures will take effect starting at 5 AM and will be lifted at 8 PM.
Road closures will include the following:
Water St, American Alley, Telephone Alley, and the A St Parking Lot
Petaluma Blvd North (between D St and Washington St)
The #2 eastbound lane of Washington St (between Keller St and Petaluma Blvd N) Western Avenue (between Petaluma Blvd N and Keller St)
4th St / Kentucky St (between B St and Washington St)
B St (between 2nd St and 4th St)
Water St, American Alley, Telephone Alley, and the A St Parking Lot
Petaluma Blvd North (between D St and Washington St)
The #2 eastbound lane of Washington St (between Keller St and Petaluma Blvd N) Western Avenue (between Petaluma Blvd N and Keller St)
4th St / Kentucky St (between B St and Washington St)
B St (between 2nd St and 4th St)
Eastbound and Westbound traffic on D Street will be condensed to one lane in each direction starting at 4 PM for the actual cruise portion of the event. Westbound traffic on D St will not be allowed from Northbound Petaluma Blvd S during this time as well.
The Police Department will be working this event to reasonably accommodate any traffic related issues. The Petaluma Police Department appreciates the public’s patience and understanding, and requests those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel.
