Felon Arrested by Sheriff’s Deputy for Having Loaded Revolver

A convicted felon has been arrested for possessing a loaded revolver. Last Wednesday night, a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over a car for an expired registration. The deputy spoke with the driver, Michael Fenton, and found out he was a felon with a violent background. After seeing a lighter associated with smoking meth, the deputy had Fenton exit the car and he was arrested for being an unlicensed driver. The deputy searched the vehicle and found a revolver with the serial number scratched off and a glass pipe. Fenton was then charged with four felonies and another misdemeanor.
