Two women from San Francisco have been arrested for robbing a Sunglass Hut in Santa Rosa. The theft occurred on May 18th with six women and a man entering the store at the Santa Rosa Plaza and stealing about $50,000 dollars in merchandise. They fled in two vehicles but one crashed and was abandoned. That vehicle was towed and Santa Rosa contacted the owner, Arianna Torrey, who claimed it was stolen. When Torrey and Destiny Nisby came for the vehicle, they were detained and a search warrant was executed on them and the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, police found over $13,000 in suspected stolen sunglasses, though not all from the Sunglass Hut. They also determined that Torrey and Nisby had lied about the vehicle being stolen and were involved with the theft.
