A woman who was fired from Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center after refusing the coronavirus vaccine is claiming religious discrimination. The woman was fired in December of 2021 after working at the hospital for about 21 years. She recently filed a lawsuit against Kaiser Permanente that claims religious discrimination, retaliation and a failure to prevent discrimination and harassment. The woman is a licensed nurse but last worked as a patient transportation aide.
