Apple’s newest operating system has a lot of local flavor. On Monday, Apple unveiled macOS Sonoma, which has several features inspired by Sonoma County and our wine region. One of the screensaver options will be a video that flies over green vineyards in Sonoma in slow motion. And, some of the “Peanuts” gang, created by Santa Rosa’s Charles Schulz, will be options for Apple Watch faces this fall. Two of the watch faces shared by the company on Monday feature Snoopy and Woodstock. macOS Sonoma will be released to the public in the fall.
