The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria will be paying Sonoma County another five-million-dollars annually. That takes the total payment to 14-and-a-half-million-dollars to offset the impacts of public services provided by the county. The changes, approved by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, are linked with the planned expansion of the tribe’s casino and hotel near Rohnert Park. The expansion project is slated to start later this month. The Graton Resort and Casino is already the largest of its kind in the Bay Area.
