Several safety upgrades are coming to the streets of Downtown Guerneville later this year. The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors recently committed to investing more than a million dollars in a project that will bring upgraded sidewalks and lighting to the area. Some intersections are also getting safety beacons designed to improve crosswalk safety. The project will put Guerneville in compliance with sidewalk guidelines set by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
