Santa Rosa police found a loaded handgun and drugs during a vehicle search. On Friday night, officers noticed a parked vehicle with hazard lights on in a parking lot on 2022 Pioneer Way. They contacted the two occupants and smelled burnt cannabis and saw visible drug paraphernalia. They searched the vehicle and found a loaded 9-millimeter pistol and suspected methamphetamine. They determined the driver, 21-year-old Pedro Zaragoza, was responsible and arrested him for multiple felony firearm and narcotics related charges.
