One Petaluma Retailer Caught Selling to Underage Decoy

Petaluma Police continue their decoy operations on Tobacco sales in the city. Last Thursday night, teenaged adult decoys visited 17 tobacco retail licensed businesses during which they attempted to buy tobacco products. One vendor sold tobacco products to an underage person. The vendor was contacted and cited for furnishing tobacco to an underage person. This comes after another decoy operation was conducted earlier in mid-June during which 20 tobacco retailers were visited. None were caught selling to decoys during that operation.
