Sonoma County Committing Millions to 46 Homeless Projects

Sonoma County leaders have spent the past few weeks outlining their plans for addressing the homeless crisis. They have now committed nine-point-six-million-dollars to 46 projects and programs related to homelessness in the past month. Sonoma Applied Village Services is among the organizations benefiting from the newly allocated funding. The nonprofit, which runs a temporary site for people living in RVs and campers in Sebastopol, is getting nearly 800-thousand-dollars to continue its efforts, and for outreach services. Several other organizations are getting a six-figure funding boost from the county as well.
