Sonoma County Deputy Pleas No Contest to Assault Weapon Charge

A Sonoma Correctional Deputy accused of possessing an assault weapon has taken a plea deal. Adam Marlowe pleaded no contest to one count of possessing an assault weapon. It stems from a domestic violence investigation involving Marlowe and his girlfriend. Marlowe allegedly yelled at her and held her against the wall for about ten minutes on January 7th this year. Several guns were seized from his home, including an assault style rifle with no serial number. Marlowe will be sentenced on August 3rd and also faces state decertification which could strip him of his license to carry a badge in the state.
