The student accused of stabbing a classmate to death at Montgomery High School will stand trial on October 17th. The boy is charged with voluntary manslaughter and having a weapon on campus. He pleaded not guilty on Thursday. The 15-year-old suspect was allegedly attacked by a 16-year-old boy in the middle of an art class in March, and is accused of retaliating by stabbing him. The suspect’s attorney says it was clearly self-defense.
