A Napa man already in prison gets more jail time. Forty-four-year-old Garrett Lars Elshere was sentenced last week to 12 years in prison for multiple counts related to domestic violence. Elshere attacked a woman in November of 2020 at the Napa Marriott Hotel & Spa. He apparently punched the woman several times, poured vinegar on her, and grabbed her by the throat. The new sentence will be added to his current 22 years to life in prison sentence for an unrelated attempted murder. Months after the first incident, Elshere reportedly stabbed a 38-year-old Napa man outside McPherson Elementary School.
